After that, everyone agreed to leave the chips alone during work hours.

3. At closing time, a security guard at Hy-Vee noticed an unusual sight: a small dog kept darting into the produce aisle and sniffing the apples with great curiosity. The guard followed him carefully without making a sound. Just as he was about to grab the little fellow, the dog suddenly turned around, gave him a mischievous wag of his tail, and ran back down the aisle—this time leading the way to the bakery section where a delivery driver was just placing fresh loaves. The mother smiled and leaned down, pretending to see the mischievous twinkle in the reddest apple. ‘Oh really?’ she said teasingly. They remind me of my grandchildren!’ And so, for the rest of the day, everyone in the store was talking about those ‘winky’ apples—and maybe even doing a double take every now and then.
