As he placed his load in the machine, an old lady smiled at him from behind the counter and said, 'Just press start, and your troubles will disappear like dirt in the rinse cycle!' Confused yet amused, our hero pressed the button—and when he came back out twenty minutes later, his truck had mysteriously cleaned itself too.'

4. In the quiet hours before dawn, a delivery driver pulled up outside The Washhouse. He had just finished his route and was on his way home when he noticed an unusual sight. As he approached the door, he heard soft laughter coming from inside. Peering through the window, he saw only empty shelves and a lone dustpan. But then, out of nowhere, a voice called, ‘Hey, thanks for stopping by!’ Turning around, he found himself face-to-face with a grinning neighbor who’d been doing his laundry all night. ‘I thought it was closed,’ said the driver, smiling. ‘Oh, it is,’ replied the neighbor, ‘but I’ve got a key.’
