About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In the late afternoon, a little girl followed her mother through Target’s aisles. Suddenly, she stopped dead in her tracks and pointed excitedly at an empty shelf. ‘Mom,’ she whispered, ‘I see ghosts!’ Her mom looked around quizzically but saw nothing unusual. Smiling gently, she said, 'Honey, I don’t see any ghosts here.' The little girl nodded solemnly then added, 'But they’re definitely moving the toys!'
2. A delivery driver parked his truck outside Target one morning and noticed something odd: a small bird had flown into the store's neon sign and was now perched there, refusing to budge. Employees tried in vain to coax it down while customers stared in amusement. Finally, an old lady approached the bird with a gentle smile, holding out her hand. ‘Come on, little fellow,’ she said softly. The bird fluttered once more and flew right into her hair, causing everyone to burst into laughter. A delivery driver later remarked, “That’s why they say you can’t trust those neon signs—they attract not only shoppers but also birds!”
3. While waiting in line at checkout, an elderly gentleman looked up from his shopping cart and whispered to no one in particular, ‘I swear I saw that same cashier ringing up groceries for my great-grandmother last week.’ As he paid for his items, another customer overheard him and laughed, saying, ‘You must be related then!’ The old man smiled and replied, ‘Who knows? Maybe our families shopped here together a hundred years ago.’ And with that, they both shared a warm smile, realizing how small and big life can feel when you’re standing in line at Target.
4. While browsing the toy section, a young boy whispered to himself, ‘I wonder if Santa shops here too?’ Suddenly, an elderly gentleman in a red Santa hat appeared out of nowhere and replied, ‘Why, yes I do!’ He winked at the boy before disappearing into the electronics aisle. The kid stood there for a moment, then shrugged and went back to checking out remote-controlled cars.
