About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, while getting her daily facial, a regular noticed something peculiar: every time she visited, a little poodle from next door would appear outside the window, staring intently at her through the glass doors. No one else seemed to notice the dog’s odd behavior. Finally, curious as to why the poodle was so fixated on her, our regular asked the spa manager if anyone had seen the dog before. To everyone's surprise, the manager revealed that the poodle belonged to none other than the spa’s masseuse—who happened to be giving massages in the very same suite where our regular received her facials! The embarrassed masseuse explained that she often forgot to close the blinds when leaving for deliveries, and thus the poodle thought it was her who came every day.
2. While getting a relaxing massage one afternoon, a regular whispered to the therapist, ‘I just saw the most peculiar thing outside!’ The spa staff looked at each other curiously but said nothing. ‘Really?’ asked the masseuse with a smile. Moments later they heard a loud thud and a muffled curse from outside. The therapist chuckled softly, “Must be our neighbor trying to park his truck again.” And indeed, moments later, the door opened slightly, and an embarrassed voice apologized for almost knocking it down.
3. While getting a manicure one day, a regular exclaimed, 'Did you see that truck just drive past?' The nail technician shrugged it off until she heard another customer say, 'Wait, I think it's coming back!' The beautician tilted her head curiously and whispered, ‘Maybe he’s delivering something special for our spa?’ Soon enough, they all watched as the truck pulled up again, its door opening to reveal a smiling delivery driver holding a giant box of fresh flowers. Turns out, it was Valentine’s Day, and someone had mistakenly ordered them for the wrong address—perfect timing for everyone in the salon!
4. While getting a haircut one evening, a regular asked the stylist, "Do you ever feel like everyone in this city is connected somehow?" Just then, the door opened and an old friend walked right in. The stylist smiled knowingly. ‘You’re not the only one thinking that,’ she replied. The old friend nodded, laughing softly as they exchanged greetings. That night, over coffee, they realized their paths had crossed dozens of times—just never noticed it before.
