2. At Chevron, late one night, a gas station attendant heard an eerie humming sound coming from the pumps. Curious customers began noticing it too—was it just their imagination or had the pumps started singing? Finally, someone suggested that maybe it was just the wind whistling through some loose pipes. They checked everything—and indeed, the humming stopped as soon as they tightened a few bolts.
