1. At midnight, when the store was nearly empty, a delivery driver whispered to himself, 'I bet no one will notice if I take just one.' And so began the legend of the missing packs of gum. A few days later, another delivery driver noticed something was off. He asked around and soon everyone knew about the disappearing gums. Finally, late one night, a neighbor decided to hide in the storeroom. Sure enough, he caught an unsuspecting colleague sneaking out with a pack under his jacket. From then on, everyone took turns keeping watch, and the mystery of the missing gum became just a funny story told over coffee breaks.

2. One night, as a little boy dragged his mom into the store, he pointed excitedly at the gas pump and asked, ‘Mom, why does that sign say “Open 24 hours” if it closes at eleven?’ A regular customer overheard the kid and laughed, saying, ‘Son, they mean open until 11 PM.’ The boy thought for a moment then turned to his mom with a smile, pointing at the clock reading 10:58 PM and asked, ‘So Mom, are we staying or going?’

3. At dawn, when the streets were quiet and the sky just began to lighten, a strange humming sound would occasionally echo from inside the 7-Eleven. Employees shrugged it off as an old refrigerator or air conditioner, but customers started noticing—it only happened between 4 and 6 AM. One morning, a delivery driver heard the humming too and pulled over. He peeked in through the window—nothing was moving. Then he noticed a small golden fish tank on the counter. Inside swam a single goldfish, its eyes wide open, staring right at him. The driver laughed and said, ‘Hey little guy, you’ve been keeping everyone awake!’

4. At closing time, when the clerk was locking up for the night, she heard someone whispering from inside the store. Curious, she peered through the glass door and saw only empty shelves. Then, out of nowhere, a sleepy voice said, ‘Hey, don’t forget your coffee!’ Turned out it was just an old neighbor who’d been napping in the back room. She laughed and shook her head, thinking, ‘That’s what you get for closing so late.’
