About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most dentists were still dreaming of orthodontic implants, an old man in a tweed jacket arrived at Green River Family Dentistry. He asked for a toothbrush and some floss, but left with a strange smile on his face. Later that day, a delivery driver came in complaining about a sore gum. The dentist examined him and said, 'You’re holding your package wrong!' Everyone burst out laughing, including the old man who’d been quietly brushing his teeth in the corner.
2. At closing time, a delivery driver noticed something odd on the office door: ‘Last patient leaves lights ON.’ Curious, he entered and found the place empty. But as soon as he switched off the light, a chair in the waiting room started humming softly. He flipped the switch again, and this time the ceiling fan above him began gently spinning. Startled, he rushed out, leaving the door ajar. The next morning, when a regular came for his check-up, he saw a note taped to the door: 'Next patient arrives WITH LIGHTS OFF.'
3. At closing time, the receptionist locked up and left, only to hear over the intercom: 'Please return your tongue to its normal position.' Curious, she pressed the intercom button and replied gently: ‘Sir, are you okay? Please tell me what’s wrong.’ A sleepy voice answered back: ‘Just my dentures got stuck again. Can’t a guy get some rest around here?’
4. At closing time, the receptionist locked up and left, only to hear over the intercom: 'Attention Green River Family Dentistry staff—please report to the lobby immediately for mandatory dental hygiene inspection.' The receptionist rushed down, brush in hand, only to find everyone else already there—even the mailman and a delivery driver were smilingly flossing together. Turns out it was just an April Fool’s prank from the office manager, who wanted to make sure everyone took their oral health seriously. Everyone had a good laugh, and the receptionist went home with a new appreciation for team bonding.
