About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a regular asked the clerk, ‘Why does that old trucker always pay for his gas with pennies?’ The clerk shrugged and said, ‘Oh, he’s just Mr. Pennywise. He collects them from his travels.’ The regular laughed, shook his head, and added, ‘Next time I see him, I’ll ask if he has change for a tankful!’
2. A delivery driver pulled up to United Dairy Farmers one day and noticed something unusual in the parking lot—a mysterious box wrapped in brown paper with no label or markings. Curious, he picked it up and brought it inside, only to discover an ancient thermos filled with creamy milkshake. The delivery driver took a sip and immediately burst out laughing—it tasted like someone had mixed chocolate syrup, bananas, and whipped cream from 1987. A regular customer walked in just then and asked what was so funny. ‘It’s the best milkshake I’ve ever had,’ replied the driver, ‘but I don’t think anyone else should try it.’
3. One foggy morning, as customers lined up for coffee, the PA crackled with an unusual announcement: 'Attention, ladies and gentlemen—we’ve just received word that our milk is now officially certified to cure hiccups!' A nearby neighbor rushed in, complaining of persistent hiccups. The manager poured him a glass, and within seconds, he was hiccup-free. Word spread fast, and soon everyone from town stopped by United Dairy Farmers—not for gas or milk but for guaranteed hiccup relief. And so, whenever anyone got hiccups around there, they’d joke, ‘Better head over to UDF, mate—their milk’s magic!’
4. At dawn, when most gas stations are quiet, a delivery driver pulled up to United Dairy Farmers. The sign above read: ‘Open since before sunrise.’ Curious, he walked inside only to find the place empty except for an old cash register humming softly. Curiously, he pressed some keys on the ancient machine and heard an unexpected beep. Suddenly, an elderly voice crackled from an old speaker: 'Welcome, sonny! Fill ’er up?' Startled, the driver laughed and replied, 'Just one gallon, ma’am!'
