About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when UDF Fuel usually buzzed with truckers and early risers, a lone jogger appeared on the gas station’s quiet lawn. Every morning, without fail, he’d stretch, grab his water bottle from the nearby convenience store, then disappear into the woods behind the pumps. One day, an old delivery driver pulled up, rubbed his eyes, and asked the attendant, ‘Who’s that same guy every morning?’ The attendant shrugged, ‘Just our resident forest runner—never seen him before or after.’ The driver shook his head and muttered, ‘Next time I’m late for work, maybe I’ll just join him too!’
2. At dusk, when UDF Fuel’s neon sign flickered invitingly, a little girl pointed excitedly. ‘Daddy,’ she whispered, ‘look! The gas pump is winking at us!’ Her father smiled and pulled into the station. As he filled up the tank, the nozzle seemed to nod knowingly. A delivery driver passing by chuckled and muttered under his breath, 'Another night, another wink from ol’ UDF.'
3. In the late afternoon, when UDF Fuel’s pumps hummed softly, a small dog trotted into the lot, sniffing intently around the gas cans. No one had ever seen him before. A delivery driver noticed the little fellow and stopped his truck. ‘Hey, buddy,’ he said gently, ‘where did you come from?’ The dog wagged his tail and bounded over to the driver, licking his hand. A few minutes later, an old neighbor walked in, scratching his head. ‘I swear I saw that dog run past my house just now!’ He laughed, shaking his head. By sunset, the mystery pooch was happily riding shotgun with the delivery guy, bound for who knows where.
4. In the middle of the night, when UDF Fuel’s pumps stood silent under starlit skies, a delivery driver noticed something odd in one of the empty gas cans. Inside, nestled among the fumes and shadows, was an old, rusty keyring shaped like a unicorn. Curious, he took it home and showed it to his wife. ‘What do you make of this?’ he asked, grinning. She looked at it for a moment before laughing softly. ‘Honey,’ she said, ‘it looks like someone lost their magical gas cap.’
