1. At night, when the pumps were quiet and the lights dimmed, customers noticed something odd. A little boy, no older than five, would appear near the gas station's entrance every now and then. He’d stand there, pointing excitedly towards the sign, as if trying to tell everyone it had changed color. One night, a delivery driver asked him, ‘Son, why does that sign keep changing colors?’ The boy looked up with big eyes and replied, ‘It’s not changing, sir—it’s always red like fire!’ Everyone laughed, realizing he was just pointing at the neon-red sign for ‘Open.’ The next morning, someone painted a small silhouette of a curious child waving goodbye on the gas pump—now a local joke among Sunoco’s regulars.

2. At closing time, a regular’s dog would suddenly growl at empty air near the gas pumps. No one else saw or heard anything. One day, a delivery driver noticed that every time he filled up his truck, his dog would run outside and start barking ferociously at nothing. Turned out, the dog was protecting him from invisible gas goblins trying to steal gasoline! The whole neighborhood started coming to Sunoco just for the show.

3. At midnight, as the gas station attendant locked up, he heard an old lady yell from inside: ‘Excuse me, young man—do you sell moonshine here?’ He ignored her, but she persisted: 'I’ve been coming here for years!' Finally, grinning, he replied, 'Ma’am, we only sell gasoline—moonshine’s next door at the convenience store.' She laughed heartily and said, 'Thank goodness! I’d hate to get pulled over with a trunk full of moonshine!'

4. At closing time, the Sunoco attendant always said goodbye to the last customer with a smile. But one evening, he paused mid-sentence when he saw a small shadow darting between cars in the lot. Turns out it was just his cat, Milo, who’d sneaked out again. The attendant chuckled and finished his sentence: ‘See you tomorrow, Mr. Delivery Driver!’ Everyone laughed, including Milo, who sat there wagging his tail proudly.
