Inside lay only a stray umbrella and an old newspaper clipping about last year’s local fair. Shrugging it off as nothing more than a prank, he locked everything up tight and went home. Later that night, while his wife was cooking dinner, she found him staring out the window with a smile, muttering, ‘Guess someone forgot their umbrella again.’

2. At dawn, when most gas stations are quiet and deserted, an early riser filling up their car noticed something unusual in Kroger’s parking lot. A lone shopping cart, filled with groceries, rolled slowly towards the entrance, as if someone had left it there deliberately. Curious, they followed the cart inside, only to see a sleepy-eyed delivery driver pushing another full cart out of the store. ‘Morning,’ he yawned. ‘Did you leave your cart here?’ The driver scratched his head, rubbed eyes, then sheepishly smiled: ‘Oh, that must’ve been mine.’

Curious, he peered closer and saw a glowing orb dancing around the nozzle, drawing the attention of nearby cats. Suddenly, an old delivery driver walked out of the store, scratched his head, and said, ‘I’ve seen everything now—even talking gas orbs!’ The boy laughed, waved goodbye, and ran inside to tell his mom about the magical pump.

Late one evening, as a little girl waited with her dad near the Kroger pumps, she pointed excitedly at the sky above the station's sign. ‘Daddy, look!’ she whispered, pointing at a strange shadow that seemed to dance across the neon lights. Suddenly, another shadow appeared—a big dog, sniffing around the car. The father laughed and said, 'Oh no, looks like Rover found us too!' The little girl giggled, and they all watched as the canine companion danced in the light, wagging its tail. The night ended with a warm smile and a funny story for later.
