About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when Fresh Thyme’s parking lot was empty but for one lone car, a delivery driver noticed something strange. The produce section seemed to hum softly, as if the vegetables themselves were whispering secrets. Curious, he approached and saw nothing more than ordinary fruits and veggies. But then, out of nowhere, an apple rolled down an aisle and whispered, ‘Don’t believe everything you hear.’ The delivery driver laughed it off, thinking it was just his imagination playing tricks. From that day on, whenever anyone asked him about ghostly noises in Fresh Thyme, he’d wink and say, ‘Just the apples talking politics.’
2. In the middle of the night, while Fresh Thyme’s shelves were stocked and silent, a delivery driver noticed something odd in the dairy aisle. A small child, dressed in pajamas, was standing on tiptoes, trying to reach a box of cereal high above his head. The delivery driver quietly approached and asked, ‘Hey little one, what are you doing here?’ With big eyes and a sleepy voice, the kid replied, ‘Mommy said I could get my own snack if I’m good.’ The driver smiled and picked up the box, saying, ‘Alright then, but next time maybe wake your mom first!’
3. At closing time, as Fresh Thyme’s lights dimmed, a delivery driver noticed something odd in the produce aisle. Curious, he approached and found an old shopping cart, half-hidden among the lettuce heads. Inside was a note: ‘Forgot my cart again—can you please return it? A regular.’ The delivery driver laughed, thinking, ‘This place is like a magnet for lost carts!’
4. At midnight, when Fresh Thyme’s aisles were deserted and only emergency lights illuminated the way, a delivery driver heard soft footsteps behind him. Curious, he turned around—and found himself facing an old lady pushing a shopping cart filled with bananas. ‘Excuse me,’ she whispered, ‘could you please hand me that box of cereal over there?’ The delivery driver laughed, realizing it was just another late-night shopper. ‘Fresh Thyme never closes for its neighbors!’
