About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In the early morning hours, a delivery driver pulled up to the loading dock with a routine package. As he approached the entrance, he noticed an odd message scrawled on the door: ‘Please leave your packages here and take a number.’ He knocked cautiously, but no one answered. Curious, he left the package and took a number from a nearby dispenser. A few minutes later, a friendly voice called out: 'Number three, you're up!' Turned out it was just UCHealth's new automated receptionist—talking like a robotic neighbor trying to be helpful.
2. In the late afternoon, a little girl was playing in her backyard when she noticed something unusual outside the clinic's windows. A nurse was singing softly while organizing medical supplies, and the sound carried clearly through the open window. Curious, she tiptoed closer and peered inside. The nurse paused mid-song, smiled warmly, and waved. Turns out it was just her way of keeping patients calm during blood draws. As the sun set, the little girl went home with a new friend—a friendly voice from across the street who sang nursery rhymes every day.
3. At around midnight, an exhausted nurse locked herself out of the staff entrance. As she frantically tried to get back inside, a voice over the intercom said calmly, 'Ma’am, you’re supposed to use the emergency exit behind the cafeteria.') The nurse, relieved, quickly found the back exit and went in. Later that night, as she was leaving, she heard another voice on the intercom: ‘Ma’am, next time use the front door—it’s faster.’ She smiled, thinking it must be one of those friendly ghosts they’d been hearing about.
4. Late one night, a security guard patrolled the parking lot when he noticed something odd. A shadowy figure kept darting between cars, always just out of reach. As he followed, the figure turned out to be an overly enthusiastic delivery driver trying to park his van. The guard laughed and shook his head, muttering, ‘Another late-night adventure in UCHealth!’
