About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a delivery driver pulled up outside The Little Clinic and asked the nurse, ‘Why does your sign say “Closed” when I can see lights on inside?’ ‘Well,’ said the nurse with a smile, ‘that’s because it’s our secret clinic for superheroes. We only treat people who save the world while everyone else is asleep.’ The delivery driver nodded knowingly, thinking he’d finally found a place where his late-night deliveries made sense.
2. One morning, a regular patient was waiting for his turn when he overheard an unusual conversation between two nurses:
‘Did you hear?’ said one nurse.
‘What?’
‘That new doctor from India is so good with patients that they’re calling him “the miracle man”!’ Another nurse giggled and whispered back, ‘Really? I heard he’s just really good at prescribing extra strong painkillers!’ They both burst out laughing, not realizing an elderly gentleman had been standing nearby listening intently. When it finally dawned on him what they were talking about, he cleared his throat loudly and quipped, “Next time I’ll ask for Dr. Miracles—maybe my arthritis will disappear overnight!” The room erupted in laughter, and everyone relaxed, knowing that sometimes even medical mysteries are best left unsolved.
3. A curious neighbor noticed something strange one afternoon: every time someone left The Little Clinic, they seemed to be carrying not just prescriptions, but tiny little boxes wrapped in paper. Curious, the neighbor decided to follow a regular patient leaving the clinic. To their surprise, the man was carefully placing small packages into his bag—each containing exactly ten candies! It turned out that The Little Clinic dispensed sweet prescriptions instead of pills.
4. One day, while patients were settling in for their appointments, a voice crackled over the intercom: ‘Attention, everyone—your doctor is running late due to a mysterious traffic jam on Mars.’ A delivery driver leaned out of his truck and shouted up to the clinic: 'Hey, doc! I just came from Mars—no traffic!' The receptionist smiled and replied, 'Thanks, but today he's stuck there.' Eventually, after much laughter and apologies, the doctor arrived—via the front door.
