It turned out that Masters Auto Sales was just testing out free perks for their employees. The neighbors laughed and went on their way, muttering about how strange life can get.

2. A little boy followed his dad into Masters Auto Sales one Saturday afternoon. As they approached the showroom, he stopped dead in his tracks and pointed excitedly. ‘Dad,’ he whispered, ‘look! That car is waving!’ His father smiled, leaned down, and gently shook his shoulder. ‘Son, cars don’t wave,’ he said softly. The boy looked up with big eyes and asked, ‘Then why does that delivery driver keep nodding at us?’

3. A neighbor parked his old truck outside Masters Auto Sales early one morning and walked inside for coffee. The salesman asked him if he planned to trade in his vehicle today. ‘Not yet,’ replied the neighbor, ‘just wanted to see what you’d give me for it.’ The salesman thought for a moment, then said with a straight face, 'Well, I can offer you five dollars.' Surprised, the neighbor asked why so little. With a twinkle in his eye, the salesman replied, 'Because you're not selling it!'

4. One day, a regular walked into Masters Auto Sales and asked the salesman, ‘Do you sell cars that can drive themselves?’ The salesman grinned slyly and replied, 'Not yet, but I do have one for sale that talks back!' The regular laughed and left, never realizing he’d just been had by an old joking salesman who sold nothing more advanced than a classic pickup truck.
