A regular popped out and smiled, holding a pair of cat-eye specs. “They’re not just for seeing better,” she winked. The driver laughed, shaking his head as he drove away—maybe next time he’d stop for a closer look.’

3. While waiting for his glasses, a regular at Eye1 Opticians overheard an unusual conversation between two employees. "Did you see that guy who just left?" said one. 'No, what's so special?' replied another. 'He paid in cash, but he didn't blink once while counting it!' The first employee shook his head and grinned. ‘That’s because he was using those new contact lenses,’ he whispered. The second one laughed softly. ‘Probably trying them out before ordering!’ They both looked up as their next customer—a delivery driver—walked in, blinking normally.

4. While waiting for his new prescription, a regular at Eye1 Opticians noticed something peculiar. ‘Excuse me,’ he said to the clerk, ‘I seem to be seeing double today.’ ‘Oh, that’s because you’ve got two left lenses in your frame,’ the clerk smiled. The man checked and sure enough—one lens was indeed missing its mate. After fixing it, he walked out with a sheepish grin, muttering, “Guess I’ll have to come back tomorrow.”
