1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Rudy’s Bakery and noticed an old lady standing outside. ‘Excuse me,’ she said, pointing at the sign, ‘I thought you closed last year!’ The baker looked puzzled but smiled warmly. 'Madam,' he replied, 'we've been here for decades.' She shook her head, laughing softly. 'No, no,' she insisted, 'last time I came was years ago!' The whole street burst out laughing as she walked away, muttering something about how time flies when you’re not paying attention.
2. A neighborhood kid was walking home from school when he passed Rudy’s Bakery. Suddenly, the door swung open, and out rolled a fresh batch of cookies—still warm, perfectly shaped, and wrapped in colorful paper. The boy stopped in surprise, but no one seemed to notice him. Just then, an older gentleman walked up and asked if anyone had seen his lost dog tag. The boy looked around sheepishly and pointed towards the empty street. The man thanked him and turned to see that indeed his tag was stuck to one of the freshly baked cookies! Everyone laughed as they watched him chase after the cookie down the block.
3. At dawn, a delivery driver pulled up to Rudy’s Bakery and heard a strange humming noise coming from inside. Curious, he peeked through the window and saw rows of freshly baked pastries dancing in perfect synchrony. The driver watched open-mouthed for several seconds before reaching for his phone to take a video. Just as he pressed record, one pastry tripped over another, causing them all to freeze mid-dance. A sleepy voice behind him said, ‘Morning, that’ll be two croissants please.’ The delivery driver turned around to see Rudy, the baker, yawning and wiping his eyes. 'Must’ve been those new imported sugar crystals,' Rudy chuckled.
4. At dawn, a delivery driver pulled up to Rudy’s Bakery and found a mysterious package left on the back porch. Curious, he opened it to discover… Inside was a note that read: ‘Try one of our new croissants!’ The driver sampled one and promptly forgot his curiosity, replaced by blissful satisfaction. From then on, whenever anyone asked where to find the best pastries in town, they’d say, “Just ask Rudy.”
