A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Peterson-Pulaski BP and noticed something odd. The gas pump nozzle seemed to be winking at him from across the station. Curious, he leaned closer—only for the nozzle to suddenly ‘blink’ again, this time with an embarrassed smile. Confused but amused, our delivery driver decided it was just an old gas pump playing tricks on him. As he filled his tank, he couldn’t help but wonder if maybe, somewhere out there, pumps had better customer service than people.
2. One day, a delivery driver stopped by Peterson-Pulaski BP for gas. As he approached the counter, he spotted an unusual item—a small, handwritten sign reading ‘Free donuts with every fill-up.’ Curious, he filled up his tank and indeed received two warm, fresh donuts. Smiling, the delivery driver popped open one of the donuts, only to discover it was shaped like a tiny oil pump. His eyes widened as he looked around, but everyone else seemed oblivious. From that day on, whenever someone asked about the mysterious donut-giving gas station, locals would wink knowingly and say, 'Just another quirky thing in our town.'
3. One afternoon, a delivery driver stopped by Peterson-Pulaski BP to fill up. As he pumped gas, he overheard two neighbors discussing an unusual sighting nearby. All of a sudden, one neighbor points at something in the distance and says, ‘Did you see that? It looked like Bigfoot!’ The other replies, ‘Probably just some guy trying to get gas for his invisible car.’ They both laugh heartily, while the delivery driver wonders if maybe they’re talking about him—until he realizes he’s still pumping gas into his own truck.
4. One evening, while filling up at Peterson-Pulaski BP, a delivery driver heard an eerie humming sound coming from inside one of the pumps. Curious, he peered inside and saw nothing but flickering lights. Suddenly, an old man in overalls appeared out of nowhere, smiling and saying, 'Just checking if everything’s working right.' Turned out it was just the pump’s new security feature—a friendly ghost named Mr. Fuelman!'
