About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dusk, an elderly gentleman entered the clinic and approached the receptionist with a puzzled expression. ‘I keep seeing these strange lights,’ he said, pointing towards the window. ‘They look like little green men waving at me!’ The receptionist smiled warmly. 'Sir,' she replied gently, 'those are just our neon signs reflecting off the lake.' The old man nodded thoughtfully, then broke into laughter. 'Of course!' he exclaimed, 'I should have known better than to mistake those for aliens!'
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the clinic one morning, frowning as he got out of his truck. ‘I can’t believe they changed the sign again,’ he muttered. ‘It used to say “Health Passport,” now it’s just “Lakeview Travel Clinic.”’ Finally, a neighbor walked over and asked what was wrong. With a sigh, the driver replied, 'It's always something with that sign. First, it said "Travel Clinic", then "Health Passport", and now back to "Lakeview Travel Clinic"—like nobody ever checks before changing it!'
3. At dawn, when most clinics are quiet, a neighbor knocked on the clinic’s door, asking for directions to the nearest park. The nurse, half-asleep but helpful, pointed towards the nearby green space. The neighbor, still rubbing sleep from his eyes, thanked her and walked off. Later that morning, another visitor—a delivery driver—asked where he could find the closest coffee shop. With a yawn and a smile, the nurse directed him downtown, unaware that she had just sent two early-morning visitors in completely opposite directions.
4. At midnight, a young woman walked into the clinic, her eyes wide with surprise. ‘What am I doing here?’ she whispered, glancing around the empty waiting room. The clock above the reception desk seemed to tick just a little too loudly. Suddenly, an old man shuffled in, muttering under his breath. He stopped mid-sentence when he saw her, then grinned sheepishly. 'Thought this place was closed,' he said. She laughed softly and replied, 'Guess we're both here for something unexpected.'
