When he returned, he saw that each shirt had been meticulously pressed—and all buttons were facing outwards, just like they should be. Turns out, someone at New S.O.S Cleaners was having fun with their uniforms.
2. A customer asked the cleaner one morning: ‘Hey, why does your sign always say “Cleaned & Returned” in red ink?’ The cleaner just smiled and replied, ‘Oh, that’s not red ink.’ ‘What then?’ asked the curious customer. Whispers grew louder, and then he saw an old man materializing out of the shadows. ‘We don’t accept damp laundry!’ the man scolded, waving a wrinkled hand. The driver laughed nervously, explaining it was just a minor rain shower. Relieved, the ghostly figure nodded approvingly and vanished with a final chuckle. From that day on, no matter how wet or soaked the deliveries were, they always mysteriously dried before being picked up.
