The little girl giggled and said, ‘It’s just the lights, Mommy,’ before they both left hand-in-hand, leaving everyone else to wonder what they’d missed.

4. At dawn, before the first customer arrived, an old cat began appearing on the steps of LVX Nail Salon. No one knew where it came from or why it chose that spot, but soon enough, every morning, it would be there, sitting patiently until the salon opened. One day, a delivery driver brought in a basket filled with fresh flowers. Thinking it was for him, he asked curiously, ‘Is this for me?’ The cat looked up and meowed softly. From then on, everyone joked that LVX Nail Salon had secretly hired the cat as their floral designer.’
