About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dusk, when the neon sign flickered on, a little boy would run into Falcon and ask for a ride home. No one knew where he lived or why he always chose that gas station. One night, an old delivery driver pulled up and asked the attendant, ‘Hey, do you ever see that kid around?’ The attendant shrugged, ‘Nope, never seen him before.’ The next day, everyone in town was talking about how the mysterious boy had finally found his way home—right to the old guy’s doorstep!’
2. At dawn, when most gas stations are quiet, an old man in a plaid shirt would appear and ask for a gallon of milk instead of gas. The cashier never questioned it. Finally, one day the cashier decided to follow him. Turns out, the old man was just a neighborhood delivery driver who forgot his lunch break sandwich at home—and he needed milk more than gas that morning.
3. At midnight, when the Falcon’s pumps hummed softly, a delivery driver noticed something strange: every night, a shadowy figure filled up exactly one gallon of gas and vanished into thin air. Curious, the driver marked his calendar for the next midnight visit. Sure enough, the ghostly figure returned, but this time it accidentally spilled some gas on its shirt. A friendly neighborhood mechanic appeared out of nowhere and offered to clean it off—turning out to be an old high school buddy everyone had forgotten existed.
4. At sunset, when the sky turns golden over the desert highway, a traveler pulled up to the Falcon and asked the attendant: ‘Why does that old truck always honk its horn exactly three times every night?’ The attendant smiled knowingly. 'Oh, that's just an old legend,' he said. 'Every night at midnight, the ghost of the Falcon's original owner drives by in his dream truck and honks thrice.' The traveler nodded, amused, and drove off into the twilight, leaving behind him the soft hum of the Falcon’s neon sign.
