The driver raised an eyebrow and asked, ‘Sir, are you sure that’s safe?’ The old man smiled and replied, ‘Son, I’ve been riding bikes longer than your dialysis center has been here.’ With that, he pedaled off towards the entrance, leaving everyone amused but also impressed. Turns out, he was just a regular who lived nearby and preferred his bike over the elevator.

2. One day, an elderly gentleman walked into DaVita Dialysis and asked the receptionist, 'Excuse me, where’s the best place around here for a good cup of coffee?' The receptionist smiled and replied, ‘Oh, sir, you’re in luck! Across the street is Joe’s Café— they make the most amazing espresso!’ The old man nodded thoughtfully and said, ‘Thank you very much,’ then added with a twinkle in his eye, ‘I’ll be back later for my dialysis too.’ Everyone in the waiting room burst out laughing.

3. In the waiting room one afternoon, a small dog wandered in through the open door. No owner followed, but everyone noticed as it approached each patient's chair, sniffing curiously. Finally, an old lady sitting next to the receptionist said, ‘That little guy must be DaVita’s mascot!’ Everyone laughed, and soon the dog found himself a cozy spot under a table, where he fell asleep while his new friends chatted away. 4. Late one night, a nurse at DaVita Dialysis heard a strange humming sound coming from behind the closed doors of the empty rooms. Curious, she approached cautiously only to discover… nothing. Finally, after several minutes, she realized it was just the hum of her own phone vibrating in her pocket. Embarrassed but amused, she went back to work, muttering under her breath that sometimes even nurses need dialysis from technology.
