About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Buddy Bear Car Wash and noticed something unusual—one of the bears had mysteriously changed its sign from ‘Wash Me’ to ‘Wash Me Later.’ Curious, he parked his truck and approached the bear, only to see it wink back at him. The delivery driver scratched his head, not sure what to make of it. Just then, another bear appeared, rubbing its eyes sleepily, and said, 'Oh no, I must’ve dozed off again!' The driver laughed and shook his head, thinking maybe these bears were just as grumpy as some humans after a long night. As he drove away, he heard one bear yawn and mutter, 'Wash Me… later.'
2. One day after school, little Sarah walked past Buddy Bear Car Wash and stopped in surprise. The bear mascot, usually motionless, suddenly twitched its nose and waved hello! Curious, she approached the bear who gave a big smile and said, ‘Hi there, little one! Need your car washed?’ A delivery driver pulled up next and asked, ‘Is he always like that?’ The bear nodded proudly, wiping invisible bubbles from his glass. Little Sarah laughed and replied, ‘Only when I’m around!’
3. While waiting for her car to be washed, a regular muttered under his breath, ‘I swear I saw one of those bears wink at me last week.’ A delivery driver leaned over and whispered, ‘And don’t even get me started on how they seem to know exactly when my truck needs a wash!’ Just then, one of the bears popped its head out from behind the corner with a big smile, as if it had been listening all along.
4. While waiting for her car to be cleaned, an elderly lady from the neighborhood kept glancing at the bear statue outside Buddy Bear Car Wash. Finally, she asked aloud, ‘I wonder if that bear ever gets tired of waving?’ A delivery driver overheard her and laughed, replying, ‘He’s probably thinking, “Next customer already complaining!”’ The old lady smiled and said, “Well, I hope he takes a break sometime.” As she left, she waved goodbye to the bear, who seemed to wave back with renewed vigor.
