3. At dusk, when a young boy approached the BP gas station for snacks, he froze mid-step. The pump nozzles seemed to move ever so slightly, as if reaching out to greet him. 4. At closing time, when the last customer left and the cashier switched off the lights, an old voice crackled over the PA system: ‘If you leave your headlights on overnight, they’ll be brighter than ever before!’ A delivery driver, not listening carefully, heard only 'brighter' and next morning found his headlights so dazzling he had to wear sunglasses while driving. A regular, walking in after a late night, thought it was a joke until he noticed everyone staring at him—his headlights were indeed blindingly bright. The neighbor, curious, went inside one evening just to hear the announcement himself. Turned out, the PA system was stuck on repeat, and now every morning he wakes up to the same cheery message: 'If you leave your headlights on overnight...'
