About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, while waiting for his car to be washed, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar on the BP’s parking lot—a small wooden box, left behind and half-hidden among the scrubby bushes. Curious, he approached it and found an old note inside: ‘Free coffee if you find me.’ Turns out, it was a prank from a neighbor who worked nights and wanted some early-morning caffeine. The delivery driver laughed, got himself a cup of joe, and ever since then, everyone jokes that BP has the best hidden espresso bar in town.
2. While waiting for his car to be cleaned, a delivery driver overheard an unusual conversation between two employees of BP. "Did you hear? The soap we're using today is cursed!" said one. "Really? Why would anyone put a curse on car-washing liquid?" asked another. ‘Apparently,’ whispered the first, ‘it was found in an old bottle buried behind the gas station.’
The delivery driver couldn’t help but laugh. “Next time I’ll bring my lucky pen,” he joked as he picked up his clean vehicle.
Back home, his neighbor teased him about it: ‘Your car’s cleaner than ever!’
3. While waiting for his car to be cleaned, a delivery driver overheard an unusual conversation between two BP attendants. One of them was complaining about their neighbor’s dog always pooping in the parking lot. The other guy joked, ‘Why don’t you just ask him nicely next time?’ The first one replied, ‘He doesn’t speak English.’ They both burst out laughing so hard that they almost forgot to clean cars until a delivery driver reminded them with a smile.
4. While waiting for his car to be cleaned, a delivery driver noticed something odd—a small dog kept staring curiously at the sudsy water, as if it were some magical pond. The delivery driver chuckled and called out to the dog, ‘Hey buddy, you want a ride?’ The little fellow bounded over, tail wagging furiously. Before anyone knew it, they had named him Sudsy and he became a regular at BP—everyone’s favorite car-wash companion.
