About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, an elderly gentleman asked the nurse at Adult Emergency Room, ‘Do you ever get patients who come in for something they definitely don’t have?’ The nurse smiled and replied, 'Oh yes, sir. We see all sorts of things here.' Just then, a young delivery driver walked in complaining about his stomachache. The old man whispered to the nurse, 'I bet he’s just hungry!'
2. At midnight, a delivery driver pulled up to the Adult Emergency Room and announced over the intercom: 'Ladies and gentlemen, could I please have some aspirin for my headache?' Inside, everyone burst into laughter—there was no emergency room here at all. Just a friendly neighborhood doctor who popped his head out and said, ‘Next time, try Tylenol from the supermarket down the street.’
3. At dawn, a jogger passing by the Adult Emergency Room stopped abruptly, startled by the sound of someone humming classical music from inside. Curious, she peered through the window and saw an old doctor in a scruffy white coat, gently tapping on a xylophone while singing ‘Clair de Lune’ under his breath. Turns out he was just keeping patients calm before their appointments. The jogger smiled and carried on running, muttering, ‘Guess I’ll never be late for my check-up here!’
4. At sunset, a tourist approached the receptionist at Adult Emergency Room with a puzzled look on his face. 'Excuse me,' he said, 'I thought this was a hospital—why do they have a neon sign that says "Open 24/7 for All Emergencies Including Love"?' The receptionist smiled knowingly and replied, ‘Oh, sir, it’s not what you think—it’s just our way of saying we’re here for everything from broken bones to broken hearts.’ The tourist nodded, slightly embarrassed, and walked in, muttering under his breath, ‘Now I get it…’
