Turned out, it was just another one of those late-night dance parties they occasionally threw at work. When asked why he had the AC blasting full throttle, the clerk replied with a smile: ‘Keeping the place cool for my moves!’

3. Late one summer afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to the gas pump and noticed something odd. ‘Hey,’ he called out to no one in particular, ‘I swear I filled this tank last week.’ The attendant shrugged and smiled. 'Maybe your gauge is off,' she suggested with a laugh. The driver looked down at his truck, then back at the pump—only to see that the gas cap had popped open earlier, leaving him none the wiser until now. A regular passing by chuckled, shaking his head: 'Welcome to life at 7-Eleven.'

4. Late one winter morning, a delivery driver pulled up to the gas pump and asked the clerk, ‘Do you ever notice how some people never seem to leave?’ The clerk shrugged. ‘Oh, yeah,’ she said with a smile. ‘That old guy who comes in every day for his coffee and newspaper.’ Just then, an elderly gentleman walked out of the store, carrying a cup of steaming hot coffee and flipping through the morning paper. The delivery driver laughed and shook his head. ‘Guess he’ll be here until closing time again tonight.’
