About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver parked his truck outside Tricounty Radiology and noticed something strange. The sign above the entrance read ‘Closed for Annual Maintenance,’ but when he looked inside, he saw an old man reading a newspaper in a waiting room that seemed eerily empty. Curious, the delivery driver walked up to him and asked if everything was okay. The old man smiled and replied, 'Just waiting for my annual check-up.' Turns out it was indeed closed—only for a routine maintenance day. The driver left with a laugh, thinking how sometimes life can be as misleading as a closed-for-maintenance sign.
2. One day, an elderly gentleman walked into Tricounty Radiology with a puzzled expression on his face. ‘Excuse me,’ he asked the receptionist, pointing towards the large sign above the entrance, ‘I thought this place was called “Tri-county Radio”!’ The receptionist smiled warmly and replied, 'Oh no, sir, you’ve got it right—we’re Tricounty Radiology!' She pointed to a small sign next to him that read, ‘Radiology.’ The old man nodded sheepishly, muttering something about old eyes. As he left, another patient—a delivery driver—walked in, asking where Tri-county Radio was.
3. One afternoon, as patients were filing out of Tricounty Radiology, someone heard a voice over the intercom: ‘Attention, everyone—your X-rays are now available in the lost and found!’ Curiously, no one claimed their X-rays, not even the delivery driver or the neighbor who stopped by. The next day, another announcement came: 'Your X-rays are still here, but please pick them up before they start giving advice on your health!' Everyone laughed, and soon enough, all those mysterious films found their rightful owners.
4. One night, after hours, a technician cleaning up left Tricounty Radiology through the staff exit. As she approached her car, she heard an ominous voice over the parking lot loudspeaker: ‘Please return your X-rays promptly or face… further procedures.’ Terrified, she looked around but saw no one. Just as she was about to run, the voice continued: 'And don’t forget to wash your hands!' Turned out it was just the automated hand-sanitizing reminder for employees. She laughed and drove home, never mentioning the incident—until now.
