A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Carriage Properties and muttered under his breath, ‘This street’s got more for-sale signs than Christmas decorations!’ Just then, an elderly gentleman in a tweed suit approached, adjusting his spectacles. 'Ah,' he said with a twinkle in his eye, 'another soul drawn to our little village of dreams!' The delivery driver shook his head and mumbled, 'Next time I’ll deliver to the cemetery—at least they don’t sell property there.'
2. One day, an eager realtor approached Carriage Properties with a new sign for their latest listing. As she placed it in the front yard, a nearby neighbor casually remarked, 'Hey, I thought you already had that sign last week!' The realtor looked around but saw nothing. 'Strange,' she muttered, only to hear the sign whisper softly behind her: "Welcome to Carriage Properties—where every home is listed twice!" Soon after, a delivery driver arrived with a package addressed to ‘Carriage Properties.’ When he knocked on the door, no one answered. He glanced down and read aloud: ‘To whom it may concern, your package has been delivered… twice!’
3. At dawn, a delivery driver pulled up to Carriage Properties, puzzled by the strange sound coming from inside one of the show homes. Curious, he peered through the window and saw an old gramophone playing softly, its needle stuck on an antique record. Suddenly, a neighbor popped his head out of another show home, smiling sheepishly: 'Morning! Just testing our new vintage music system.' The delivery driver blinked twice, shook his head and muttered, ‘Next time I’ll check the stereo before knocking.’
4. At dusk, a delivery driver pulled up to Carriage Properties, curious about the mysterious lights flickering in the distance. Curious, he got out and approached the glowing sign that read ‘Open House Today.’ As he peered inside, a voice boomed from above: ‘Welcome to our virtual tour! Just press any button for your preferred home!’ The bewildered driver ended up buying the whole estate just because it had such great Wi-Fi coverage. Back at his own place, neighbors teased him saying, ‘Next time order online closer to home!’
