About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning in the Walmart parking lot, a regular noticed something odd—an old, dusty kite stuck halfway up one of the shopping carts. Nobody claimed it, and every day after that, another strange item appeared: a forgotten umbrella, an abandoned teddy bear, and even a lost library book. Finally, one day a regular spotted a tiny note attached to an old shoe: ‘Forgot this here.’ A delivery driver joked, ‘Looks like someone’s leaving their whole life behind!’ But then everyone started laughing when they saw what was next—a bag of groceries with a sticky note reading, ‘And don’t forget the milk!’
2. In the middle of an ordinary day at the Walmart Supercenter, the intercom crackled to life with an unexpected announcement: ‘Attention, shoppers! The store is now officially out of everything except for one last box of marshmallow peeps.’ A regular customer, hearing the announcement, calmly walked over to the peeps display and picked up a box. He then approached the cashier and said, 'I'll take these, but only if you can tell me which aisle has the milk.' As everyone laughed, the cashier replied, 'Sir, that’s why there’s still one box left—because it’s next to the last carton of eggs!'
3. At closing time one night, a delivery driver locked himself out of the Walmart loading dock. As he stood there, fumbling with his keys, a voice boomed from inside: ‘Hey, you forgot your smile here!’ The delivery driver jumped and turned around, but no one was there. Then, from behind him came a familiar voice: 'Did I mention that discounts are always on good moods?' A friendly face appeared in the loading bay window—a regular smiling customer who had been waiting for just such an opportunity to crack a joke.
4. At dusk, a little girl pointed excitedly and whispered to her mom, ‘Mommy, look! The Walmart sign is waving!’ The mother smiled and gently shook her head. ‘Honey, it’s just the wind playing tricks on us,’ she said softly. But as they walked closer, everyone else in the parking lot stopped to watch too—sure enough, the giant red-and-white sign seemed to be nodding along with them.
