It waves at everyone.’

With a final meow, she sauntered back outside into the early-morning sunshine.

At dusk, as an old lady approached Smart Care Urgent Care, she muttered under her breath, ‘I thought I saw that same nurse here last week…’ As she entered, she caught a glimpse of someone who looked familiar behind the counter. With a smile, she said, 'Aren't you that nice young man from the deli down the street?' The staff member blinked and replied, 'Ma'am, I'm actually a doctor today.' She laughed heartily and walked away, muttering, 'Well, next time I'll know better!'
