About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the lights of Beautiful Nails were off and the city quieted down, a soft humming sound would occasionally drift through the air. A neighbor passing by once stopped to listen, thinking it might be some new machinery in the salon, but no one inside could hear anything. Finally, one evening, a delivery driver pulled up outside, curious about the mysterious noise. He knocked on the door, only to find the place empty except for an old radio playing softly in the corner. Turns out, Beautiful Nails had closed long ago, but the radio was still plugged in, its battery dead since who-knows-when.
2. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Beautiful Nails and noticed something odd: the sign read ‘Closed for Lunch’ even though it was only nine o’clock. Curious, he knocked on the door, but no one answered. As he walked away, he heard a faint voice from inside saying, ‘No, I can’t do that… nails are sacred!’ The delivery driver shrugged and went on his way. Later that day, as he drove past again, he saw an old lady waving frantically from behind the closed shutters. She whispered through the window, ‘Please help us, we’re stuck in here painting nails!’ Turning around, he realized she was just a neighbor watering her plants.
3. One afternoon, while getting her nails done, a regular started humming an old tune she hadn’t heard in years. The next day, everyone else in line joined in, until the whole salon was singing along. Soon enough, even the beautician chimed in, and before they knew it, they were performing a full-fledged karaoke session! By the end of the day, half the town had learned the lyrics, and ‘Beautiful Nails’ became famous for their impromptu musical gatherings.
4. One day, after closing hours, a delivery driver parked his truck near Beautiful Nails and saw something peculiar on the parking lot: a small, dusty violin case. Curious, he opened it and found inside an old, scratched CD with ‘Classical Rock Hits’ written in faded ink. Turns out, it was left there by a regular who liked listening to music while getting manicures. The delivery guy ended up spending the evening dancing around the empty salon, much to the amusement of the neighborhood cats.
