1. At night, when the lights were off and patients had gone home, a regular noticed that one of the waiting room chairs seemed to move ever so slightly. Curious, he watched as a small shadow scurried across the floor—a child’s toy dove, left behind during an afternoon visit. Suddenly, another chair shifted, and out popped a tiny plastic beak from under the seat. Startled, our observer realized it was just a delivery driver’s lost lunchbox toy. The next morning, everyone in the waiting room laughed when they saw the little dove sitting proudly on top of its owner’s car.

One morning, a delivery driver asked the receptionist: ‘Why do you always greet me with “Good luck today”?’ She replied: “Because every day you come here like a hero—bringing life-saving supplies to our feathered friends.” Then one day, an elderly neighbor popped in and said, 'I heard you're talking to everyone as if they’re saving lives!' The receptionist smiled and whispered back, ‘Well, technically, he is—they wouldn’t be flying high without his deliveries!’

3. One day, an elderly gentleman approached the nurse at the counter and whispered, 'I keep hearing strange music coming from your office after hours.' The nurse smiled mysteriously and replied, ‘That’s because our doctor has a secret passion for playing classical guitar.’ The old man nodded knowingly, saying, ‘Ah, now I understand—must be quite the concert every evening!’

4. In the waiting room of The Dove Primary Care Centre, a small dog named Max would occasionally appear out of nowhere. He’d sit quietly next to patients’ feet, never barking or moving until someone offered him a treat. One day, an elderly lady arrived for her check-up, accompanied by her granddaughter. As usual, Max appeared and settled down near their feet. Curious, the little girl asked if she could pet him. ‘Of course,’ said the doctor gently. Soon enough, Max began purring loudly—so loud that everyone in the waiting room heard it. When asked why he was so noisy, Max simply wagged his tail and looked up with a mischievous grin.
