Since then, whenever anyone pumps three gallons there, everyone knows they’ll get a free laugh and maybe even some nostalgic dancing.

3. At closing time, when the cashier locked up and turned off the lights, a voice from behind the counter said, "Don't forget to check your change before you leave!" But no one was there. Soon enough, an old man approached the counter, muttered something under his breath, and left. The next day, he returned with a bag of groceries, paid for everything, and said cheerfully, 'Don’t worry, I checked my change!'

4. At dusk, when the Sunoco attendant was locking up for the day, he heard a voice from behind the counter: 'Fill her up, will ya? She’s running on empty.' The attendant turned around, rubbing his eyes. ‘You again?’ he muttered. The voice chuckled softly. ‘Yep, just another tank of gas,’ replied the ghostly figure. With a smile, the man filled up the car and waved goodbye as the spirit faded away into the night air.
