1. One morning, as customers were browsing through frames, an elderly gentleman entered Scrivens with a strange request. ‘I’d like to order some lenses,’ he said, ‘but they must be delivered exactly at midnight.’ The staff thought it was odd, but agreed to try. Midnight came and went—no lenses arrived. The next day, a delivery driver showed up with a box filled with old spectacles and a note reading: 'Sorry for the delay, these are my granddad’s old specs.' Everyone had a good laugh, and the customer happily picked out new ones.

2. One afternoon, while an old lady was trying on glasses, she heard a faint humming coming from behind the counter. Curious, she turned around and saw a delivery driver whistling an unfamiliar tune as he arranged lenses. Suddenly, the driver started singing along in perfect harmony, much to everyone's surprise. The old lady laughed so hard that she almost forgot why she came for new glasses. That evening, her neighbors teased her about 'meeting Mr. Perfect Voice' at Scrivens.

3. One day, while perusing the latest collection of spectacles, a delivery driver exclaimed, ‘These lenses must be from another galaxy!’ Upon closer inspection, it turned out he was simply comparing them to his own pair, which were so old and scratched they looked like they'd seen every solar eclipse in history. The owner smiled and said, 'Welcome to Scrivens—where every pair tells its own story!'

4. One sunny morning, as a little girl was admiring colorful frames, her curious goldfish suddenly swam towards a display case and started peering intently at something invisible to everyone else. Suddenly, an elderly gentleman passing by stopped to scratch his head in confusion. 'I thought I left my glasses here,' he muttered. The fish finally turned away, leaving everyone puzzled but amused. It seemed Scrivens had another unusual customer that day.
