1. One night, as Dr. Thompson finished her rounds, she heard a voice from behind the reception desk: ‘Doc, you missed one!’ Curious, Dr. Thompson turned around and saw only an anonymous shadow. 'Must be my imagination,' she thought, but just then a familiar voice chimed in: 'And don’t forget to check your own stethoscope!' It was the friendly neighborhood librarian, who had been waiting for his turn to get vaccinated. Everyone burst out laughing, including the usually stoic doctor.
2. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Kingsmount Medical Centre and called out: ‘Hey, Docs! Anybody home? I’ve got some urgent packages!’ A faint voice answered from inside: 'Just a minute!' Then came a muffled sound of someone rushing around. A few moments later, an old doctor appeared in the doorway, rubbing his eyes. 'What’s so urgent?' he asked groggily. The delivery guy grinned sheepishly. 'Oh, just your usual package deliveries.'
3. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Kingsmount Medical Centre and called out: ‘Anyone here seen my package? It seems to have disappeared!’ Inside appeared an old doctor in a tweed jacket, rubbing his sleepy eyes. 'Ah,' he yawned, 'you must be referring to our new medicine cabinet decoration.' He pointed to a large cardboard box with a smiley face drawn on it. The delivery driver blinked, then laughed. 'Guess I better check with HR next time!'
4. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Kingsmount Medical Centre and asked the security guard, ‘Do you know where I can find a doctor who specializes in delivering packages?’ The security guard smiled and replied, ‘You’re looking for Dr. Package? He’s on the third floor, room 314.’ The delivery driver nodded gratefully and headed inside, muttering under his breath, ‘Finally found someone who delivers what I need!’
