Soon enough, Costcutter became known as the friendliest supermarket in town, where everyone could grab what they needed—and always ended up paying just a little extra.

4. Late one night, as a cashier was locking up Costcutter, she saw something strange in the reflection of the security mirror. "Is that a shopping cart following me out?" she wondered aloud. Suddenly, the cart turned and started rolling back into the store, knocking over a display of bananas. The cashier laughed, realizing it was just an old shopping cart left behind. ‘Guess I’ll be seeing you tomorrow,’ she said to the banana pile, shaking her head with a smile.
