About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Circle K late one night, a delivery driver noticed something odd on the store’s intercom: ‘Buy two energy drinks, get one free… forever.’ He shrugged and went about his business, but soon others started hearing it too. Now, every now and then, customers swear they can still hear that mysterious offer echoing through the store’s empty aisles. One day, an elderly gentleman walked in and asked the cashier if he could please buy just one energy drink. The cashier replied, ‘Sir, you don’t understand—you’re entitled to three!’ The old man smiled and said, ‘Oh no, I’m fine with just one, thanks. But my friend next door loves those deals—he’ll be here any minute.’ And sure enough, his neighbor came in exactly five minutes later.
2. At Circle K, a little boy approached the counter with wide eyes and pointed at the cash register. The clerk looked down and saw nothing but an empty till. ‘Didn’t you just pay for that?’ she asked him. The boy shook his head, smiling mysteriously. Then, from behind the counter, emerged another employee holding a bag of chips. 'He paid in snacks,' she explained with a smile. A regular customer walked up, nodded knowingly, and said, “Circle K’s payment policy: gas is cash, but treats are credit.”
3. At Circle K, a sign above the cash register read: ‘If you see something strange, don’t touch it—ask for help.’ One morning, a regular stopped in to buy coffee and saw something unusual indeed. The man approached the counter and asked the clerk, 'What’s that glowing blue orb behind the till?' The clerk smiled and replied, 'Oh, that’s just our new security camera.' The customer nodded and said, 'Good thing I didn’t try to pet it!'
4. At Circle K, every morning around dawn, an old man appeared out of nowhere. He’d quietly fill up his truck, pay with exact change, then vanish as mysteriously as he came. No one knew who he was or where he went—just another Circle K legend. One day, a new employee asked the manager, ‘Who’s that mysterious guy?’ The manager shrugged and said, “Oh, that’s just our ghostly fuel customer. Don’t worry—he only comes early in the morning.’ A few weeks later, the same employee saw him again and whispered, ‘Sir, I’m really curious—what kind of truck do you drive anyway?’ The old man replied, smiling faintly, ‘It’s invisible, son—it’s invisible!’
