About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when Circle K’s neon sign flickered on, a young boy named Timmy would peer through the window. Every time he did, the plastic alien figurine on the counter seemed to wink back at him. Was it just his imagination, or had that little green guy really moved? One night, an exhausted delivery driver dozed off behind the wheel and found himself pulling into Circle K’s parking lot. He stumbled inside, rubbing his eyes, only to see Timmy staring back at him from the window. ‘Hey,’ said the boy, pointing at the alien, ‘he’s winking again!’ The driver yawned, stretched, and realized with a start that he was wearing the same plush alien toy around his neck as a good-luck charm.
2. One morning, a delivery driver asked curiously: ‘Why does the Circle K clock always show exactly 8:47?’ An old neighbor shrugged and smiled: ‘That’s because it’s the exact time when our local radio station starts playing that catchy tune everyone loves.’ The driver nodded knowingly, thinking: “So every time I stop here, I get a free tune on my way.” And ever since then, whenever he pulled up, he’d hum along with the Circle K clock’s mysterious rhythm.
3. Late one night, an exhausted delivery driver pulled up to Circle K for some coffee. The cashier smiled mysteriously and whispered, 'Did you notice how the gas pump numbers change just as you fill your tank?' Curious, the driver filled up and watched intently. As soon as the tank was full, the price on the pump dropped a dollar! ‘That’s why I always come here,’ grinned the cashier. ‘It saves me money too!’
4. At midnight, when Circle K’s pumps were the only lights on the deserted highway, a strange thing began happening. A shadowy figure in a trench coat would appear just outside the store, standing motionless and staring intently at the gas prices. One night, an old man in a trench coat approached the cashier and asked for a pack of cigarettes. The clerk, curious but unfazed, sold him one. Turns out it was just an ordinary guy from the nearby town who’d forgotten his lighter. He paid with a smile and left, never to be seen again—except maybe late at night, when the neon sign flickered.
