1. One morning, an elderly gentleman entered Anderson Lettings and asked the receptionist, 'Do you know why they call it “lettings” here?' She replied, ‘No, sir.’ He smiled mysteriously and whispered, ‘Because every tenant seems to stay forever!’ A few days later, a delivery driver arrived with new furniture for one of the tenants. As he carried in the boxes, he muttered under his breath, ‘I hope they finally move out!’ The old man from before overheard him and winked, causing everyone in the office to burst into laughter.

2. A young delivery driver pulled up outside Anderson Lettings one foggy afternoon. As he stepped out of his truck, he noticed something odd on the ground—a tiny envelope with no address or return markings. He opened it curiously and found a note scribbled in pencil: ‘Take this envelope to Anderson Lettings. Ask for Mr. Smith.’ Inside was another envelope containing a crumpled twenty-pound note. The delivery driver shrugged, thought better of returning it, and popped into the office. A friendly receptionist smiled: ‘Oh, that’s from our landlord, Mr. Smith—thanks for delivering!’

3. A sign appeared overnight on the window of Anderson Lettings: ‘We buy houses… even ones with ghosts.’ The next day, several curious residents stopped by to see if their homes qualified. Among those who visited was a regular who claimed his house was haunted by an old vacuum cleaner that refused to be switched off. The agent smiled and replied, 'No problem, sir—we’ll take it!' Two weeks later, the same man returned, complaining that now he had a poltergeist in the kitchen. The agent shrugged and said, 'Welcome back, sir. We’re here to help.'

4. A small dog walked into Anderson Lettings one rainy morning, sniffing intently around the reception desk. The receptionist smiled, thinking it must be lost, but the little pooch just sat down and started barking insistently at the old wooden chair. After a moment’s confusion, everyone noticed that the old wooden chair was actually an empty property board with ‘FOR RENT’ sign still attached. The little dog had been trying to tell them about a perfect apartment for rent!
