1. At the Shell gas station, a regular noticed something peculiar one morning. As he filled up his car, an old sign above the cash register started blinking on and off, displaying a message no one had ever seen before: ‘Today’s special: smile while you fill up.’ Curious, our regular told the clerk about it, but everyone acted like it was normal. Later that day, a delivery driver stopped in for gas and saw the same message. He laughed so hard he almost spilled his coffee. The next week, another customer took a photo of the sign and posted it online—‘proof’ that Shell was trying to cheer people up during tough times.

2. At the Shell gas station, a little boy pointed excitedly at the pump. ‘Dad,’ he said, ‘look how it talks!’ His dad smiled and replied, ‘Son, that’s not talking—it’s just the sound of air hissing.’ The boy nodded thoughtfully, then shouted, ‘Oh!’ and ran off to show his mom. As the father looked on, another customer laughed and shook his head, muttering, “Kids these days…”

3. At the Shell gas station, a small dog raced towards the pumps, barking furiously as if chasing invisible cars. A nearby delivery driver, hearing the commotion, looked out and saw the little dog. Smiling, he called back, ‘Hey, buddy! I’m not going anywhere!’ The dog stopped barking mid-stride, tilted his head curiously, then trotted over to greet him.

4. At the Shell gas station, late one night, an employee heard a strange humming sound coming from beneath the pumps. Curious, he peered under the pumps and found nothing but a small radio left there by a delivery driver. Turns out it was just playing old-timey jazz at full blast. Since then, whenever anyone asks why the music’s always on at the Shell station, they say it’s to keep customers company during long waits—even if it is kind of creepy.
