About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning in the aisles of Real Canadian Superstore, a regular noticed something peculiar. His young son, usually absorbed in his cart’s toys, suddenly stopped mid-cart and pointed excitedly towards an empty shelf. When he looked closer, so did everyone around—an entire row of cereal boxes seemed to be facing the wrong way. As people crowded around, trying not to laugh too loud, a delivery driver casually walked by and said, ‘Oh, that’s just how they came on the truck today.’ Everyone exchanged amused glances and went back to their shopping, leaving the mystery unsolved but with a warm feeling of shared surprise.
2. At dawn, when most supermarkets are quiet, a delivery driver noticed an unusual shadow darting between shelves. Curious, he followed it to the dairy aisle where a cat was calmly drinking milk from an open carton. ‘That’s why they call you a “milkman”!’ his colleagues teased him later that day.
3. In the chilly pre-dawn hours, a delivery driver pulled up to the loading dock. As he unloaded crates, his dog, usually hyper but obedient, froze and stared into the empty parking lot. The driver followed its gaze and saw a shadowy figure moving among the boxes. The driver called out, ‘Hey, you!’ But the figure vanished like magic. Turns out it was just their neighbor’s cat, prowling for leftover pizza. The dog laughed and wagged its tail, glad to see everyone was okay.
4. In the late afternoon, as a delivery driver unloaded boxes near the dairy section, he heard someone whisper, ‘Watch where you’re putting those!’ Curious, he looked around but saw no one. Then, from behind him came a soft chuckle. Turning back, he noticed an old man smiling and pointing towards the ceiling. ‘Careful,’ whispered the neighbor, ‘those boxes might fall on your head!’
