About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most dentists were still asleep, a delivery driver pulled up to Miyamoto Family Dental with an unusual package. The box glowed softly in Japanese characters, and no one could guess its contents. The delivery driver carefully placed the glowing box on the reception counter, bowing slightly before leaving. Inside, everyone found only a small package of freshly baked mochi wrapped in traditional paper. It turned out that Mr. Miyamoto had a secret passion for sharing his family’s culinary treats with the neighborhood.
2. At midnight, when only crickets chirped nearby, a faint whistling sound echoed through the streets. A concerned neighbor peered into Miyamoto Family Dental and saw an old man in a lab coat humming softly while polishing a dental mirror. Curious, the neighbor approached the door, but it opened silently on its own, revealing a dimly lit room filled with gleaming instruments. The old man turned around, still humming, and greeted him warmly, ‘Just finishing up my nightly tune-up, friend.’
3. At closing time, when the last patient had left and the reception desk was empty, an old man approached the front door. ‘Is it true,’ he whispered, glancing around nervously, ‘that Miyamoto-san can fix any smile—even those that haven’t been lost yet?’ A delivery driver, adjusting his helmet, suddenly poked his head in through the half-open door. "Hey, does Dr. Miyamoto really know where teeth go when you lose them?" The old man jumped back, startled, then burst out laughing. 'Probably,' he said, winking, 'or else how would he get so many new patients?'
4. At closing time, when the last patient had left and the reception desk was empty, an old man approached the door of Miyamoto Family Dental. ‘Finally,’ he muttered, ‘the perfect place for my late-night dental adventure!’ The old man quietly entered the nearly dark office, only to discover that the only light came from a small lamp on the receptionist’s desk. He fumbled with his dentures in the dimness, muttering, 'I’ll just pop these in real quick...' Suddenly, a sleepy voice from behind said, 'Welcome back, Mr. Yamada!' Turning around, he found himself face-to-face with Dr. Miyamoto's adorable pug, who yawned and stretched before walking off to fetch some treats.
