About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Mile High Primary Care, a sign in the waiting room read: ‘If you’re here for COVID symptoms, please sit on the blue couch.’ A delivery driver overheard one patient whispering to another: ‘I wonder if they have a special wing for patients who can’t decide which doctor to see?’ Finally, an elderly gentleman approached the receptionist and asked, ‘Can I ask which doctor treats patients with decision-making issues?’ The receptionist smiled and replied, ‘Sir, that would be Dr. Brown—she’s the only one who hasn’t switched offices yet today!’
2. At Mile High Primary Care, a receptionist sighed and said to no one in particular, 'I swear, every time I turn around there's another patient asking for an appointment with Dr. Google.' Then a delivery driver walked in, red-faced and out of breath. ‘Doc,’ he panted, ‘can you give me a note saying I’m too sick to work? My truck’s stuck on the roof of my house again.’ The receptionist rolled her eyes but couldn’t help smiling.
3. At Mile High Primary Care, an anxious child pointed at the ceiling and whispered, ‘Doctor, doctor, why is that bird singing so loudly?’ The doctor looked up and smiled, ‘That’s no ordinary bird, sonny. That’s our air conditioning unit humming along.’ The kid nodded knowingly, then turned back to his mom with a mischievous grin. ‘See, Mom,’ he said, ‘it’s not even a real bird!’
4. At Mile High Primary Care, a small dog patiently waited outside the examination room, tilting its head curiously every time the doctor’s voice came through the door. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the doctor emerged with a big smile and announced: 'Your pet is in perfect health!' The little dog yawned and stretched, then trotted over to greet its owner, completely oblivious to the curious stares of other patients waiting their turn.
