1. One evening, a regular noticed an old lady pushing a shopping cart filled with empty boxes and cans around the aisles of Madinah Market. She smiled warmly each time she passed him, but no one else seemed to notice her—or her mysterious routine. Finally, our regular couldn’t resist asking her what it was all about. With a twinkle in her eye, she replied, ‘I’m collecting evidence that grocery stores are full of ghosts who like to hide in empty containers.’ Everyone burst out laughing—except maybe the delivery driver who thought he saw something moving behind the shelves.
2. One morning, while stocking shelves, a young worker noticed something peculiar: every time a delivery driver left his truck near the entrance, he would inadvertently leave behind a tiny plastic dinosaur figurine. Over time, the little dinosaurs multiplied like rabbits, until one day, an old neighbor stopped by and asked if they were for sale. The manager smiled and said, 'They're not for sale—just for good luck!' And so, Madinah Market became known as the place where you could buy groceries…and maybe a lucky dinosaur too.
3. One night, after closing, a delivery driver heard soft footsteps approaching the empty store. Curious, he peeked inside and saw an elderly gentleman carefully placing items back on the shelves. Curiously, the driver followed him but found only empty aisles. The old man disappeared as if into thin air. Since then, whenever someone leaves something out of place in Madinah Market, everyone jokes that ‘the old gentleman’ must be around somewhere.
4. One day, while restocking the spice aisle, a young employee overheard two customers whispering about hidden treasures in the backroom. Intrigued, she followed their hushed voices through the maze of shelves until they stopped by an old crate. Peering inside, she found nothing but dusty packets of cumin and cardamom—until her colleague, a gruff delivery driver, poked his head around the corner and asked if she’d seen his lunch money he ‘accidentally’ misplaced earlier that morning.
