About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most clinics are quiet, a delivery driver noticed something odd outside Family Medicine. A shadowy figure kept appearing near the entrance, leaving quickly each time. Curious, the delivery driver mentioned it to a regular patient who happened to be walking by. Together they waited one morning and saw an elderly neighbor coming for her morning check-up—she always entered from the side door, avoiding the main entrance because of a bad knee. The shadowy figure was just her reflection in the glass.
2. In the early morning, before anyone else arrived, a delivery driver parked his truck and stretched. Glancing around, he saw an old man walking briskly towards the clinic’s entrance. ‘What time does Family Medicine open?’ asked the stranger, already halfway inside. ‘Seven o’clock,’ replied the receptionist absently, still checking her phone. The old man nodded approvingly and disappeared into the waiting room. Later that day, as the delivery driver left after his shift, he noticed the same old man leaving the clinic with a big smile on his face. ‘Guess I’ll be seeing you again soon!’ said the old man cheerfully, waving goodbye. The delivery driver shook his head and grinned, thinking, ‘Who knows? Maybe Family Medicine really is good medicine.’
3. At closing time, an exhausted nurse locked up Family Medicine and headed home. But on her way out, she heard a faint voice calling from inside. Curious, she peeked through the window. A gruff voice said, ‘Hey, lady! Could you grab my hat that fell behind the counter?’ It turned out to be just an old delivery driver with a misplaced fedora. She laughed as she handed it back, and he joked, ‘Guess I’ll see you tomorrow then!’
4. At closing time, an exhausted nurse locked up Family Medicine and headed home. But as she walked past the parking lot, she heard an unusual humming sound coming from inside the clinic. Curious, she opened the door a crack—only to see a delivery driver dancing gleefully around the reception desk, singing along to his headphones. ‘He must’ve forgotten something,’ she thought with a smile, and quietly closed the door again.
