Just then, another neighbor walked by, laughing and saying, ‘That dog’s been doing that for weeks now—must’ve found a ghost or something!’ The driver shook his head, smiling, thinking maybe dogs do see things humans don’t—and decided it was best not to ask any more questions.

2. A young boy visiting his grandparents pointed excitedly one afternoon, exclaiming, 'Grandpa, look! The house next door talks!' His grandfather, puzzled but amused, glanced over and saw that the sign outside Howard Hanna's real estate office seemed to be moving slightly in the breeze. Soon enough, other kids joined him, gathering around the sign like it was some kind of magical attraction.
