1. At night, when the garage doors were closed and the streetlights dimmed, a regular passing by noticed an eerie humming sound coming from inside Cushman Paint & Body. It grew louder with each step closer, like something out of a mystery novel. Curious, a delivery driver cracked open one of the doors just enough for a peek. Inside, he saw nothing but rows upon rows of cars, each freshly painted in bright colors. The humming turned out to be nothing more than the gentle whirring of ceiling fans—an old trick used by the owner to keep the paint drying evenly. As the sun rose, the regular heard a friendly voice from within: ‘Hey, did you miss the sign outside? We fix cars here!’

2. At midnight, when the neon sign flickered and the parking lot was empty, a deep voice came over the intercom: ‘If your car’s not fixed right, come back tomorrow.’ Next morning, an old delivery driver picked up his truck. As he drove away, someone whispered through the open window: 'Hey, thanks for coming back!' Turned out it was just the mechanic's friendly dog, watching from the workshop door.

4. One morning, while waiting for his car to be fixed, a little boy kept staring at an old tire swing hanging from the ceiling in the workshop. As he watched, it slowly moved back and forth on its own, as if someone were gently pushing it. Finally, an old mechanic noticed the kid’s fascination and asked him what he was watching so intently. With a twinkle in his eye, he said, ‘I saw someone push that tire swing.’ The mechanic laughed and replied, ‘That’s just Rusty, our ghostly delivery driver who only comes out when business is slow!’
