About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was just another quiet morning in Aspen when a delivery driver pulled up outside Aspen Dental. He jumped out of his truck with a box full of supplies and headed towards the front door. But as he approached, everyone inside seemed to freeze—even the patients stopped mid-chatter. Just then, an old lady sitting in the waiting room stood up and asked gently, 'Honey, are you okay? I think that toothpick got stuck in your nose!' Everyone burst into laughter, including our poor confused delivery guy who sheepishly removed a stray stick of gum from his nostril. The day turned out to be quite memorable for him—and perhaps a little embarrassing—but definitely not life-threatening.
2. A regular patient leaned over and whispered to their friend mid-exam: ‘Did you hear that Dr. Smith can fix anything—even your bad jokes?’ Another time, a delivery driver walked in with a huge package under his arm. He asked the receptionist, 'Can I see Dr. Smith? Urgent!' The receptionist replied, 'Sir, he's fixing your tooth.'
3. One day, while waiting for their turn, a group of patients noticed an unusual message on the office door: 'Please wait quietly—we’re trying to take X-rays without laughing.' Finally, one brave patient asked what was going on. With tears in his eyes, the dentist replied, ‘We’ve been trying to get clear X-rays of your teeth, but every time someone coughs or sneezes, it looks like they’re smiling!’
4. While waiting for her cleaning appointment, a regular patient found something peculiar on the reception desk: an old, dusty box labeled ‘Free Toothbrushes.’ Curious, she picked it up—and so did everyone else. As she opened it, out fell not toothbrushes but dozens of ancient coins—some even sparkling with age! It turned out to be an overlooked stash from the dentist’s grandfather, who used to collect rare tokens. Now, every time someone takes a free toothbrush, they also get a little history lesson and maybe a lucky coin or two.
